The SCREAMS and THREATS are going to be glorious and since they KNOW it will have been Trump’s fault, and Biden is in charge of the National Guard…they can just gnaw on their own livers in jealous rage.
I don’t think a lot of people realize the outcome of this. It’s not just that they’d be draining the money for his monetary benefit (legal bills, etc) but that he would solely control the purse strings of the entire party. That means if you’re an R and want to run any campaign, you’ll need to publicly declare your fealty to him. That’s the power play involved here, it’s not just about enriching his coffers, that’s just a nice side deal.
Down-ballot candidates will receive fewer funds, and those that do will have to go crawling to Trump for money that he feels belongs to him. It’s a win-win for the Dems. So much winning.
Lara Trump literally said if she gets the job that all of the RNC’s money goes to Trump.
That’s a lot of down ticket races that aren’t going to get jack or shit from the RNC in this cycle.
