  1. seems to not work as intended, completely understandable though lol

  2. Most likely Ishapore-Enfields.

I think they’re still in use when chambered in 7.62 NATO with the Indian police forces. They were being phased out around 2020, so might explain how they’re appearing with other groups.

That being said, hundreds of thousands of Ishapore .303 Enfields were made, so it could also be those too.

  3. Under a blue tarp in the green jungle. Amazing.

  4. Shot my buddies Enfield a few times. Man that thing kicks. Accurate as hell.

  5. eli5 on the conflict there, seenn a few posts recently about “Meitie’s”. Also these individuals look a bit more south east asian than Indian, any eli5 on them too?

  6. I’d love to see some modern day mad minute Enfield action

  7. Kind of silly hiding on a HUGE TENT ….what an eye sore … enemies could had seen that miles away

  8. Don’t knock Lee Enfields – they’re fucking accurate & rugged as hell.

I still have my grandfather’s WW2 rifle (he was a marksman & trained troops going overseas).

After the war he bought his rifle and had the regimental gunsmith cut the stock down (to use as a hunting rifle). I used it for hunting too, after he gifted it to me.

  9. I’ve got one of those! Or near enough. One oddly stamped ‘US PROPERTY’ and 1942 on it.

  10. Still enjoy shooting mine just finding 303 british ammo is getting harder.

  11. Isn’t there a gun made that you can fire remotely from the safety of the trenches?

  12. Seems like pretty soft recoil. I’ve never fired any 303 rifle but I thought they were close to the 308. Doesn’t look or sound like it from that video. Maybe closer to the 7.63×39 is more accurate
