It gives life to the images over the B&W. It actually makes me feel the images more.

This is incredible work colorizing and enhancing these photographs . I examined each one in thought. The elephant one is very sad the baptism picture is beautiful and the sculptures I wonder who made them
Where do you guys find these photos and is there a dedicated sub to them? Id love to see more of these but as you can imagine they don’t get upvoted as much as Ukraine trench clearing.

That ME-262 shot is incredible; there were so few that were produced. (1430, if wikipedia is to be believed)
JFC half of the guys (and the girl!) were babies. We are truly the best, bravest, and dumbest animal.
That Brit carrying the Boys Mk1 AT gun has a heavy load on his shoulders. Gun itself was like 35 pounds.
Poor fucking elephant.
In the shot where the Americans are crossing the Rhine, I’ve always wondered what those 3-4 guys are looking back at. Anyone know if that’s documented anywhere?
I wonder if those kids using the Maxim, possibly in Ukraine, considered they might still be using Maxims there in the 2020s
I love the Philippines. Spent 2 years there and explored all of Luzon and went to a bunch of historical WW2 sites.
