And yet we need to sell 1 big player for a 100m in order to get to 1/4 ?

  1. you know this is not that simple.

    this is just a portion of the clubs revenues, there are a lot of expenses (mainly staff and player wages) which make up the financial result.

    you can look up the clubs financial statement.

  2. How in the hell could we be anywhere close to the top playing in a 50k seat stadium which we barely sell out? Something seems a bit off there.

  4. As u/regularG84 said, it’s not that simple. LaLiga FFP are calculating budgets for the coming seasons (I don’t remember exactly how many years in advance). And they count every penny club spends and receives: on every sport section (outside of first team only women’s team is profitable), how much club owe to the players, how much club will lose due to moving to Montjuic, how much will the museum’s attendance decrease during the reconstruction of the Camp Nou, etc etc.

    But man, if the club made 190m at the old stadium, how much will it earn from the renovated stadium with more matches in the Champions League and with more matches involving the women’s team? 😲😲
