  1. >A conservative group has told a Georgia judge that it doesn’t have evidence to support its claims of illegal ballot stuffing during the the 2020 general election and a runoff two months later.

    >Texas-based True the Vote filed complaints with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in 2021, including one in which it said it had obtained “a detailed account of coordinated efforts to collect and deposit ballots in drop boxes across metro Atlanta” during the November 2020 election and a January 2021 runoff.

    >A Fulton County Superior Court judge in Atlanta signed an order last year requiring True the Vote to provide evidence it had collected, including the names of people who were sources of information, to state elections officials who were frustrated by the group’s refusal to share evidence with investigators.

    > In their written response, attorneys for True the Vote said the group had no names or other documentary evidence to share.

    > **True the Vote’s assertions were relied upon heavily for “2000 Mules,” a widely debunked film by conservative pundit and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza.**

Please send this to your MAGA uncle on Facebook

  2. In other news water wet. Back to sports. Fox news probably.

Look, your honor…we really just didn’t believe anyone would ask us for evidence.

We just wanted to make wild accusations and lie about the proof we had.

    You know, MAGA stuff.

**Mike Lindell looks on and nods, sensing kindred spirits who may have money for pillows.**

  4. I am choking with laughter at these fucking bozos

Tears are flowing down my face

I will do it again for each clip I see of Dinesh D’Doucha flustering and doubling down, digging a hole to the centre of the fucking earth

  5. Yet another fringe right group dedicated to domestic terrorism.

  6. Wonder who gave them that idea …..something something lasers

  7. For the love of all that’s holy, someone please cross post this to r/Conservative

  8. Group of lying liars caught lying again. Imagine believing anything in 2000 Mules, they claimed they solved a murder with that data…they didn’t, they didn’t even submit it to the GBI according to the GBI and the people were arrested for that murder like months before they even claimed to have submitted the data. Second, as the article states, ballot harvesting is legal in GA and I’m pretty sure it’s legal in AZ but they instead make it sound like this nefarious thing and it’s totally not, it’s just letting qualified people drop off your ballot, that’s it.

  9. I genuinely had to check the date on this article. How is this still a thing!?!

  10. “Christian”, American Republican liars always lie! Like their Trump idol. I wish they could actually read a Bible, or the Constitution or an American history book and understand any of it. They are as stupid as Germans in the early 1930’s, like my grandparents!

  11. I’d just like to say “fuck Dinesh.”

It’s hard to be a more reprehensible person than he is because he knows damn well he’s lying. That’s literally how he makes a living. And he’s so fucking smug about it.

  12. Can you imagine what would have happened to any of us if we had wasted a judge’s time like this?

  13. My Dad got better when trump was silenced on social media. Now that orange-dump is blasting his mouth everywhere, again, Dad’s right back in the cult. Told me he “knows in his heart the election was stolen”. I told him his heart is an idiot and I have a bridge to sell him. smh

  14. >When pressed to provide names of sources and other documentation, the group last year tried to withdraw its complaint. One of its attorneys wrote that a complete response would require True the Vote to identify people to whom it had promised confidentiality.

    >The State Election Board refused to shelve the complaint and went to court to force True the Vote to turn over information.

    >In addition to names, the judge ordered True the Vote to provide copies of any confidentiality agreements it had with sources.

    >The group’s attorneys replied: “TTV has no such documents in its possession, custody, or control.”

Fucking scammers. Hope they get shutdown and made to pay restitution for wasting tax payer dollars.

  15. Every single bit of Republican rhetoric should be assumed to be prefaced by “I emotionally prefer the narrative that…”

  16. that’s crazy. I really thought of a satirical newspaper headline

  17. Duh. You mean just like in every one of the other 70+ frivolous, unsubstantiated lawsuits brought by MAGA anti-democracy, fascist, Russian assets?

Old-fashioned jurisprudence devoted time and attention to plausible and substantive claims because rightwingnut scammers were less ubiquitous. Today, devoting such time to each and every hyper-partisan grievance simply aids and abets treasonous fascists whose goal is to clog up the machinery of stable government and who have no authentic interest in justice. At the very least, the complainants in each of these suits should be fined heavily and punitively for bringing forward frivolous claims. You can’t expect ethics to guide the GQP, but you can bet your bottom dollar that hitting them in the pocketbook will get even the zombies’ attention.
