Amazing!!
amazing
It’s… **beautiful**.
AURORA BOREALIS?
Where did you take it from? I cannot find it on the videos in http://www.esa.int
Absolutely stunning, thanks for sharing.
My sleep deprived brain actually thought a french austronaut actually tried to shoot the northern lights. Like, with a gun
It is beautiful outside the window, but you know that you are flying through a radiation belt.
“Universal Studios”
the northern lights were visible all the way down by oslo this weekend

very nice edit at the end. It seems much bluer than usual.. from the quote below you can clearly see the red/pink layer is much higher. It’s has been quite an active 12 months
>Blue and purple are also colours which are seen less frequently and
again, they tend to appear when solar activity is high. In this case,
the colours are caused by particles colliding with our atmosphere at an
altitude of 60 miles or less. At these heights, it is a reaction with
Nitrogen that causes the Aurora to be tinged with purple or blue and
most commonly, you will see these colours towards the lower parts of the
display.

It must be terrifying seeing all that energy that bombards ypur spaceship
Probably some transpolar arcs there, the high latitude bits within the auroral oval. If only we had another ISS at the other pole to see if they move in opposite directions.
That is an amazing capture!!!
