A speech made today in the Australian parliament ahead of the 3yr anniversary of the invasion later this month.

The former right-leaning government, and the current centre-left government are both united in their support for Ukraine, as are the majority of the Australian people.

I hope we continue to provide material support, including more Bushmaster vehicles and perhaps our retired F18s once that is logistically feasible.

  1. *2yr anniversary of the invasion.

Seems I can’t edit my post – apologies for the 3yr typo!

Hopefully by the 3yr mark this thing is all over and the Russians are back on their side of the border.

    Much love from down under!

  2. See, if we (Australia) can do it, with both parties putting political bickering aside, why can’t the US get it done.

  3. As an Australian this small token contribution is bitterly disappointing.

Australia can and should do a lot more!

People of Ukraine please know that the people of Australia stand behind you and believe in your ultimate victory.

Our government’s half hearted support is embarrassing. They talk the talk but they can’t walk the walk.

I will continue to make personal contributions where I can and lobby politicians of all stripes. I encourage other Australians to do the same.

  4. It’s not a lot, but any little amount helps 🇦🇺❤🇺🇦

  5. Ukraine already said no to the hornets.
Happy to see bipartisan support on this issue

  6. 50 million is such a limp dick effort albo. Even scomo managed to do way more and faster. Scomo was about as low a bar as there is, hold my beer says albo.

  7. Aussies rock. Thanks for helping Ukraine despite the distance. You’re a bunch of badasses.

  8. All this is is deflecting from the shitty Airbus NH90 helicopter fiasco.
