Safety concerns after people filmed using Apple Vision Pro headset

A number of people have been spotted using Apple’s VR headset in public including while driving.

Some appear to have been using the gadget as a stunt. Others may just have been just learning how to use the headset while out and about.

The new technology has prompted safety concerns, with the US transportation secretary reminding drivers they must pay attention at all times. The reminder was issued after one Vision Pro owner was filmed using the headset as he drove a car with assisted driving features.

  1. I understand the fascination about the Vison Pro . It's a new thing and people lpve showing off but like everything in life , people should do things wiith moderation. Besides it looks more like people want to burn their own eyeballs with so much usage. Ok. Jokes aside, I am team Apple all the way but doing things like driving and walking in with it…. Does anyone remember BirdBox? Some people decided to do the BirdBox challenge (and I'm taking about grown up people) . That's what it reminds me.

  2. That's probably how bummers felt when they saw us carrying phones everywhere, that's just a peak at Gen Alpha's daily routine

  3. The only safety issue is someone pulling it off their head and running away, it's a $3500 device that gives a thief the illusion that the person cannot see you because they are wearing it (they can)

  4. This is the exact same as when the airpods came out, people walking about with tic tacs in their ears so all it takes is time for society to adjust to the fact the future is officially here or almost getting to the point where VR/AR can be used on a daily basis

  5. It's not a thing about safety concerns it's a thing about boomers being afraid of change.

People are concerned because they're jealous that they can't afford one😅😂😅😂😂😂😂🎉

  6. These people have the same energy as tiktokers that do dumb dances in the middle of public. Its just attention theyre looking for.
