Ukrainian 60th and 63rd Mechanized Brigades repel Russian armored assault near Lyman. Multiple BMPs and tanks seen damaged and destroyed, including T-90M
Is it just me, or am I seeing more and more tanks and other armoured vehicles that have little to no cope cages?
Not only does Russia have thousands of military vehicles to replace, they have a lot of engineering redesign, R&D, and testing to do first. An armored vehicle is pointless if a little drone can kill everyone inside and turn the entire vehicle into shrapnel with one little hit. May as well save that money and mount the gun on a technical.
Oryx lists 62 T-90Ms lost in Ukraine out of the 67 known to have been deployed there by russia.
Quite the game changer….
The T90M? took some drones before one finally got through. That is a lot better than the older T series they use, just saying, i don’t think an leopard would fare much better other than survivability of the crew of course.
