  4. My dad bought their self titled album when it came out and pumped it out through our sick ass Astrovan speakers. He showed his mom the only song brad sings in Spanish and she was not impressed. I was. I hope the kid can sing and play guitar like a mother fucking riot.

  6. As someone who got into reggae-dub in 2011-2013 in high school when that Rome record came out I definitely still like it. Its something to throw in with like 311 or Dirty Heads but I get that its not “Real Sublime” as well. Idk I guess it just doesn’t make me sick either… plenty of good shit from the Rome era

  8. Sublime with Rome is just a different band, they never pretended to fully replace Brad. Rome is very talented, sang Brad’s songs well, and they came up with some pretty good original songs. What other choice did they have?

  11. I’ve never been a huge sublime fan but why commit to not writing new music, Seems like it would be better to just leave the legacy of your father intact instead of basically just becoming a cover band and possibly ruining it.
