  1. ***The Telegraph reports:***

Alexei Navalny’s wife has said her husband’s killers “will be brought to justice”.

Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of the Russian dissident, received a standing ovation from the audience as she began a speech to the Munich Security Conference just hours after hearing about the “horrific news” of her husband’s death.

She said: “You will have heard about the horrific news. I thought for a while should I stand here before you or go back to my children. I wondered what Alexei would have done in my place. I’m sure he would have been standing here on this stage.”

“I don’t know if we should believe the terrible news, the news we get only from official media because for many years, we have been in this situation, we cannot believe Putin and his government, they are lying constantly.”

She added: “They [Navalny’s killers] will be brought to justice, this day will come soon. We should fight this horrific regime…this regime and Vladimir Putin should be personally held responsible for all the atrocities they have committed in our country in these last years.”

  2. if she were to bring the killer to justice i bet the killer would put her on trial for treason.

  3. Unfortunately ma’am they won’t. At most they will be killed unjustified somehow.

  4. There will be no justice for him. Putin does not care and will probably kill her if she starts a big enough movement.

  5. Yeah right. Putin has been pulling this shit for 20 years and is still in power. It ain’t happenin’.

  6. What actions is EU preparing following what just happened?

  7. There is no justice for raped and killed ukrainian women, stolen and killed children, killed men, destroyed ukrainian cities. Why do she thinks there will be justice for him?

  8. Shortly before she accidentally fell out of a window, right?

  9. I am worried to say this on here, but I worry for this woman’s safety

  10. Well.. let’s be honest. If it was possible to bring those people to justice… I have another 10000000 case’s where it would have happened. And Navalny would be still alive. But I don’t think so. Except if justice is a huge leveling act on Kremlin.. but western countries are not Putin to do something like that.

  11. How? Its a criminal state at all levels including its citizens. You can’t fight that. You can only isolate them to the point its in ruin and they start turning on each other.

  12. This is so sad, i can only imagine how they treated him.

  13. As much as I want this to kickstart the revolution in Russia ..nothing will ever happen as long as Putin lives..nothing ever changes.. we all thought era of wars if something of the past..WW2 ilong time ago…history – right? WRONG – here we are with practically 2 wars in the European Continent Ukraine, Israel.. with all those international organization doing fu€|< All!

  14. Not a single word from her about other countries and Ukraine only Russia and her family.

  15. No they will not be. And no – Navalny’s supporters aren’t going to do anything about it either. They will probably propose some bullshit like Smart Voting again and will ask to protest peacefully or some shit. Russian opposition is a bad joke.

  16. Poor thing. That’s her shot. That’s it. And unless this turns into some 80s movie where she assembles the best operators in the world to go in and take him out….even then there are many layers of bad guys under Putin.

I feel horrible for her and her children. The interviews I saw they looked like a great family. Mourn and heal….words like this won’t do shit unfortunately.

  17. Which do you think she loved more: his homophobia or his white supremacy?!?

  18. He never should have went back to Russia. Because it’s not like his death was going to start any movements in Russia itself. He died for nothing.

  19. If justice were possible in Russia, he would still be alive. May he rest in peace.

Unbearable to imagine what his wife and children are going through in this moment.
