On Sat there was a link posted of those poor souls about to enter this region. It was absolutely terrifying. Everyone was silent just smoking squares.

Litterly, hell on earth.
The bottleneck was already so freaking tight so my honest guess is that even though Syrskyi ordered a withdrawal, a huge ammount of troops is currently trapped in Avdiivka and faces death or capture. I looked at every war map I could find and I can’t see how they would retreat without being spotted. Guess we’ll wait and see until reports come in.

So this is what a russian artillery bombardment looks like. This is what all the reports of heavy fire looks like. I think this is the first time seeing one this intense.
It looks like a ww1 battlefield.
My hopes are that UA forces have left the area in prep for this incoming attack. If that’s the case, I’m hoping that this is just wasted artillery on Russia’s end. The more wasted artillery here, the less is being used on areas with UA forces present
Presumably MLRS, hence it hitting all over the shop ? Not even the fish are safe ..
