  6. I’m in no way a fan of Meta, but there’s a slight possibility that there’s been a pile on of people reporting the account for all sorts of stuff which has triggered an automatic suspension. It’ll be interesting to see what Meta does when it gets more coverage.

  9. This is a bit outrageous if it’s just based on not shaking hands at the match, without any problematic stuff on the instagram. Really taking a stand there Insta. A stand on the wrong side of history.

  10. An automated response to a lot of people filing false reports, which they’ve already appealed to a human reviewer (an appeal they will definitely win). Complete non-story, but people in this thread are acting like Zuckerberg made the decision personally.

  14. Suddenly r/Ireland cares about freedom of speech. When the hate speech laws were being debated, you couldn’t question it without being down voted.

    The only difference here is Facebook is defining what hate speech is, next it will be the Irish government.
