Just had my Ubereats order delivered… with a bite out of it that looks to have been spat back into the burger.

  1. Good luck claiming a refund from Ubereats they are dreadful to deal with. They will tell you to complain to the restaurant, who will tell you it left their premises intact and to contact Ubereats.

  2. Great news on the refund.
I had to jump through hoops to get one.

  3. They were testing it for poisons, please regonsie selfless act and don’t be so quick to judge

  4. Posted this about Uber ears couple days ago on another tread:

“Half term so kids had friends round. I’m working so ordered McDonald’s to be delivered (via my McDonald’s app). Waited, got text from Uber saying picked up, waited, waited, got another text asking for location so replied with address and said I can stand outside. Waited some more, get a photo of food delivered, not my front door. Not a door on my road.

My McDonald’s app has the Uber eats customer service number so ring that. They tell me the driver followed the guidelines set out by McDonald’s and therefore they won’t refund £35.

Wife rang them when she home and got told same story that if Uber texts you to say on way, asks for a location and then sends proof of delivery they’ve done their job even if it’s not delivered.”

Stupidity used the joint account debit card rather than credit card. Have now contacted bank and bank says 30 days to consider refunding. Basically don’t go anywhere near Uber eats is my advice.

  5. I really doubt it was a bite, there is absolutely no gain to them doing this — it’s obvious, will probably result in a return, and could destroy their reputation. Burgers tend to be built top down, I wager some of the burger patty broke off when picking it up too shallow with tongs. They just put the broken bits back on your burger and put the bottom on top of it.

  6. Ewwww. Disgusting drivers omg. Some people are just scums of the earth. Please report it and get the muppet fired.

  7. I’d be sending that image and a strongly worded complaint directly to McDonald’s too.
