I’m always amazed at twats wearing backpacks on a train. Then again half the population has an IQ you under 100. And those chimpanzees are going to downvote me.
We need a new campaign
– Take your backpacks off
– Wear headphones if you’re using your phone to watch inane Tiktoks
– Don’t block off the aisles and doorways with your massive fucking suitcase
I have asked quite people a few times if they could remove there backpack. On each occasion, the person did.

Also, when will people realise there’s actually enough space to slide a suitcase under most of the seats on the Elizabeth line?

Nearly got whacked in the face with someone’s backpack the other day. An unfortunate consequence of being short.
The floor is often wet and filthy though. I’ll usually hold the backpack, or wear it on on my front, but given the number of times I’ve watched someone spill beer or retch on the night tube, I refuse to put mine on the floor.
My tube pet peeve I don’t hear enough about is:
If you’re rushing for the tube and you get on don’t just stop. I’m right behind you trying to rush on too.

I went to New York recently and they have a whole campaign on the subway with different things to do to make it a better experience for everyone, including taking your backpack off!
