  1. Western stupidity and unwillingness to do what is necessary is going to end up widening the war and im not so ready to go in to the foxholes just yet, esp. If it just ends up being tactical nuke showdown on the frontlines. I’m willing to serve i gave that oath in the FDF. GIVE THE FKING WEAPONS AND AMMO TO UKRAINE

  10. Given that the UK has been scouring the globe for shells to give to Ukraine for nearly 3 years and ended up flying them back from Pakistan inside military transport planes, this story makes no sense with regards to either where these shells allegedly are, or why there’s no money to buy them.

  11. Considering that the US army fired about 5.5 million rounds a month in the early 2000s, 3.5 million rounds on what could be argued is a larger scale war is not incredibly significant

    Ukraine is under immense pressure right now, and Europe as a whole isn’t doing near enough.

    The 122mm rounds are for soviet era D30 towed howitzers and Gvozdika SPGs, with only 15km range compared to 24km for 155mm guns, or 30km with base bleed shells (I believe that most of the 155mm shells delivered to Ukraine are M795 base bleed). The soviet era guns still considerably outnumber the much better western 155mm guns, but ammunition effectively ran out months ago, because there are only a few, antiquated factories outside Russia that make it now. So a fresh supply of three million rounds would be a big deal, putting a lot of idled guns back on the field. But I am confused… if this ammunition is available then why has it not already been sourced and delivered?
