“how dare those jumped up irish ask us to stop genociding and ethnically cleansing our colony”

We love you Israel! /s
Yeah so I don’t think it’s fair to tar us with anti semitism? I mean we had a few bad steps like when we wouldn’t accept Jews as a policy around WW2 because they wouldn’t suit the place. There was an official government memo I remember around the time that made for cringe worthy reading.
I’m just going to call it and it is an unpopular opinion but anti semitism is on the rise. There is always a baseline waiting on the wings to attack them. It’s just not right I feel? Like people who have lived here as long as the conflict has gone on? What do they have to do with it? People would think nothing of Jewish businesses and homes being attacked. Nearly like they deserved it? I don’t think globally even though people really disagreed with Russia attacking Ukraine there was the same backlash against say Russian people or businesses? It’s just not the same in a strange kind of way like it’s more acceptable to attack all Jews because the way their county is acting? I’m in no way a fan of how they are carrying on there right now. I just don’t think it’s fair on the ones that have nothing to do with it?
Hmm, think the actual answer may be Spain. Their ministers called for a ceasefire early on and haven’t really beaten round the bush when it comes to condemimg Israel, using terms like ‘war crimes’, ‘genocide’. Plus, it’s a much larger country, so it has more pull.
Also, it’s not a great look for the Israelis to be having a go at Ireland, considering who’s in the White House.
