So a Maltese MEP has asked the EU Commission to look into the possibility that food importers in Malta are somehow cheating and ripping off the public. Isn’t that a good thing? Yeah he’d asking for an investigation that’s a pretty sensible thing to do, the angry comments are either from shills who have something to lose from more competition or simply idiots who have no idea how antitrust enforcement works and don’t like something just because it’s related to the EU
