1. A battle defeat does not mean you have lost the war. Avdiivka is a good reminder that Ukraine needs more support because we cannot afford them loosing territories bit per bit. For the moment we only provide what we believe is necessary to keep conflict even. Remember a year ago when NATO allies said no way we are giving combat jet? And now facing the reality we do provide them. Europe and NATO need to commit and go hard on the russians. We need it now, not in 5 years. There is no way Ukraine can win the attrition war in the long run.
