9. This was heavily rumored at the time. Not sure why people think he’s lying. As soon as the bite happened journalists started saying we dropped interest.

11. In the book “The Real Madrid Way” it is heavily hinted that even though the author did not get official confirmation, everybody hinted at him that the bite did not align with RM’s values and culture and so they rejected Suarez.

12. I’m glad we didn’t sign Suarez. Aside from the bite incident , I think we agree that Suarez just wouldn’t fit. Selling Benzema would have been terrible idea considering how essential Benzema was for us. If it wasn’t Let’s also not forget when he made a disgraceful gesture towards Sergio Reguilon. In the end things worked for the better. They won one UCL with him while we dominated Europe and won 3 back to back
