[ANSA] There’s been talks between Gerry Cardinale and Steven Zhang. AC Milan proposed the idea of working together on a stadium around San Donato. Inter say no: they aren’t interested due to potential issues in the area, as well as “rapid developments” of their own stadium project in Rozzano.

Good, if we’re moving out of G. Meazza, we want to have our OWN stadium.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t they the ones who pulled out of the deal for making a stadium together when all this first broke? Now they want us to come back? lol fuck that. They just want to ride on the coattails of our success right now and in the future. Let’s go at this alone and let them rot away on their own
New stadium. New stadium.
A stadium just for us. There was data released on revenue made from matchdays and Spurs were second or third. Somewhere around 6.5m per match where as we are on 2.5m, if we were to make even 4.5m per home match, that’s a potential extra 50m+ per season if you include cup competitions.
We need to move for competitive reasons.
Honestly, I’d have preferred to be in a shared stadium arrangement with Milan, whether in San Donato, or Rozzano. But the commercial revenue would’ve needed to be shared in some way.
I would’ve preferred the Cathedral design have been used instead of a generic toilet bowl projects.
But I don’t know the details, it might’ve been a situation where Milan owned all the commercial land around the stadium precinct and Inter was only funding the stadium.
If that was the case, there’s absolutely no reason to jump into bed with Milan where only they profit
What are potential issues in San Donato? The article didn’t say.
We are one of the top clubs in Europe. Let’s have our own top-shelf stadium.
