His body was found in an underground parking lot in the community of Villajoyosa with at least 5 bullet wounds.

Apparently he was in Ukraine until last month. He would have been safer if he’d stayed there until after the war.

    33 year old ukranian man shot half a dozen times and run over by a car (witness said)

    Police is investigating whether this is linked to another crime as a car was found set on fire in a nearby town from where this happened. Although other lines of investigation are still open.

    Maxim Kuzminov is 29, not 33 so could it have been someone else?

  4. I think I remember reading last year that Russian intelligence had a kill order out for him? It was pretty bad PR for the Russians, because he stole a chopper and got a half-million reward for it or something. So instead of dying for Putin you could just steal a tank or a chopper or a plane, defect, get a nice payday and stay alive. So Russians are making a point – you won’t live to spend the money. Still worth the risk though, compared to taking your chances in the trenches, and coming back home penniless and missing arms and legs.
