1. >Flemings are (slightly) more positive towards the Walloons than vice versa. So says a study by the French-language university ULB published today in “Le Soir. To the question “Do you have sympathy for the Walloons?” 55.4 percent of Flemings answered positively.

   >The highest score can be found among Groen voters (66.8) and the lowest – not surprisingly – among Vlaams Belang voters (55.4). Remarkably, the Walloons judge us a little more harshly: just under half – 50.8 percent – have sympathy for our compatriots across the language border. The highest score is among MR voters, while among PVDA voters only 47.2 percent have sympathy for the Flemish.

2. It makes absolutely no sense that bothe the Flemish average and the lowest number of any party (VB) are the same, at 55,4%.

7. No surprise to me. I’ve spend a year reading media from both sides of the country. I off course have my own bias – but I’m pretty sure I’m correct in stating Walloon media is less objective and irrationally negative about the Flemish.
