Remember when Iraq was considered to have the 3rd largest military until they got steamrolled? Ukranians are destroying some really important gear. A war of attrition is still going on, but the world is learning from the great job of Ukranian
Either the Su-35 is a real piece of garbage or someone found a flaw that allows people with the right knowledge to shoot them down.
We cannot either discount that intelligence gathering operations might be able to pinpoint when a Su-35 is taking off in Russia while passing the information to the Ukrainians.
Or maybe that the Ukrainians are super skilled at using Patriot missiles and other NATO anti-air missiles they are now operating.
Bottom line is that it does not matter the reason, what matters is that Ukraine is shooting them down.

I am excited for f-16s to operate in the coverage area of the patriots. I can’t wait for su-35 to attack the f-16 not knowing there is already a missile coming down on them.
IMO this most likely due to them using them aggressively on the eastern front to push Ukraine back. They then got punished once Ukraine was able to set up long range AA. Similar to what happened in the southern front.
