No one can have any meaningful hope of fair treatment by surrendering to Russia. It is beyond time the Russian government is declared a terrorist organization and all their trading partners made to choose between a crippled economy, run by FASD suffering kleptocrats, economies which actually have meaningful GDP’s.

I’m reminded of a story from the war in Poland where a Polish colonel, finding himself his entire command, and the town they were stationed pinned between the Nazi and Soviet, chose to negotiate a surrender to the Soviet forces (in spite of a mutiny attempt from his officers). For his efforts to pick the best of two terrible choices, he and his officers got sent to Siberia for two years, where they would later be executed.
