  1. How does this post have -1 comment? In all my years using Reddit I’ve never seen that before.

  2. I’d like to see *anyone* who causes any kind of large delays on the M25 convicted tbh.

    Breakdown? Jail.

    Accident? Jail.

    Roadworks? Jail.

Two lorries travelling at 50mph next to each other? Jail.

Traveling at busy time for non-essential reasons? Jail.

The people must not be delayed.

  3. Rich pensioner or non-STEM oxbridge student, let’s see which it is today

  4. “No one in the country does anything, why aren’t we rioting, we are too placid”

Why is this comment section not filled with people praising her for standing up for what she believes in?

  5. Many in my region were really delayed by some flooding that has never occurred in my area, ever before, due to rain that has never occurred in such volumes, ever before. Who do we prosecute?

  6. So the farmers protesting will be convicted too for disrupting traffic?

  7. This is fucking dark. The dystopia is here. The most disturbing thing in the people that think this is a good thing.

  8. The legality of protest cannot come down to whether or not you agree with their cause

  9. I don’t even agree with her all that much (phasing out the use of fossil fuels immediately is going to be impossible without massive investment we’re currently not in a position to make) but I believe she should have a right to protest like that. Our convenience does not trump the right to protest.

  10. She should tell the judge that she’s a born again Christian and he’ll probably let her off.

It works for the asylum seekers who murder people, why not her?

  11. Good.

Protest in a way that doesn’t put the general public at risk of crashing into one another.

  12. She did SOOO much more harm to the stop oil movement than good
People like her is why thousands of people are fine with oil companies doing whatever they want. Because they find what people like her do so annoying they rather watch the world burn.
Everyone that does something like this is 100% an attention seeker and using some sort of good will notion as cover for their attention seeking. If you want to help the world, start by helping each other.

  13. The duality of the UK:

Issuing calls to arms and saying something needs to be done about the shameless and blatant corruption in our country, yet deriding the only people who are brave enough to actually stand up and protest for what they believe in.

    We are so fucking pathetic…

  14. TBH I might invite this lot living on a busy road which takes minutes to cross. All these miserable looking twats in finance German saloons, Silly Sally and her Minibus/Range Rover because in reality she is shit scared of the real world. Come round mine Free Tea and crumpets.

  15. I bet the vast majority of those in favor of her being jailed are also infavor of

Their Privacy being removed (Well I didn’t do anything!)

Protest rights removed totally (Just causes massive delays and it’s pointless anyway!)

Online Safety Bill (Only pedos use encryption, Why should I control what my kid does online!)

Stopping small boats crossing the channel (What do you mean legal routes, they’re all scroungers!)

Health Insurance system (NHS is buggered anyway!)

In short the vast mojority of the dumb ass shit that the Tories are forcing on us and have already managed to shove down our throats with inaine bullshit slogans that most of the people swallow like willing blasted lap dogs who lost the ability for ctitcal thought 3 decades ago when repettitave beats were made illeagal at “small social gatherings” because “It might lead to a rave!”

    Idiots.

  16. Get a tractor next time you wanna block the road.

You’ll get off scot-free and probably get a pat on the back by some dumb, loudmouth, conservative cunts.

  17. good, if you do things like this you should get some … thing, prison, imense fine, things like that. If something good also came from it, you will have appreciation later but don’t do these things assume that for some reason you are making history, history makes itself.

  18. I’d like to see the people who contributed to the warming climate jailed everytime cars and other vehicles are delayed by extreme weather events and flooding in this country connected to the changing climate.

  19. > On Friday, Judge Duncan said she believed the average person would consider the climate crisis “far more serious” than a nuisance, but “that’s not what they [the jury] are considering”.

There will come a time when the man on the Clapham omnibus thinks disrupting polluting traffic is indeed reasonable.
