Only billionaires could save the world. If no， then each countries government printed abundant money cause inflation
Since the wealthy can simply become residents of another country for tax purposes, a wealth tax would raise precisely nothing.
A wealth tax is a terrible idea. The money has already been taxed once when it was income. And most wealth is non-fungible. So instead of more money you end up with billionaires hording piles of cash instead of spending it on anything.
