Kidnapped pilot held hostage for year to be released

Footage was filmed in December last year but released last week and it’s just been announced that he will be released soon New Zealand pilot Philip merens was kidnapped by the west Papa National Liberation Army after he landed a small commercial plane in a mountainous area the group was using the pilot to demand

The Region’s independence from Indonesia it is unknown when the pilot will be released and where he was being held captive
