  1. Believing Americans are we OP? Maximum sentence is 21 years unless it it’s a war crime. Also we have “forvaring” which translates means he can/will get added years to his sentence because he’s criminally insane

Ps: The reasoning for our “nice” prisons are rehabilitation and not punishment, it’s punishment enough having your freedom taken away. One of the reasons we have one of if not the lowest recidivism rates in the world

Hate post like this that glorifies mass murders.. Sir this is the internet and they’re are plenty of people who needs a nudge in the wrong direction. Why glorify it?

Sorry I’m not being funny but this is such an absolute garbage post it’s worthy of my garbage response

  2. There was this Russian movie like back in 90 (or something) “I want to go to prison ” and a Russian guy went to one of the Nordic countries to make money (you know what happens in Russian prisons). In the end he is robbed by Russians upon return.

  3. I wouldn’t support all prisoners get a nice place but if it is proven to be effective (lower recidivism rate) I support different levels for well behaving prisoners.

  4. Inmates don’t deserve shit.

They are entitled to the same human rights as all other human beings, but they lose some liberties for a reason:

They have failed to comport themselves.

    They will pay a price.

And that means that taxpayers can afford to be cold hearted.

  5. My friend lost her sister in the 2011 norway attacks, hope that fucker rots, should of been put under the jail

That being said, this rehabilitation type prison system is, objectively speaking, a better form of prison. They exist to reform and reintroduce people when they inevitably get back into society. But 21 years for this shit is ridiculous

  6. 25 years prison in Norway is reserved only for those who insist that Sweden or Denmark are better at something.

  7. Lmao, many of the danish prisons is old and ugly, and we lock prisoners in their cells 23 hours a day due to staff shortages. The food sucks, they don’t really provide much for you, so you have to pay for a lot of stuff yourself.

Being in prison in Denmark is possibly one of the most boring and isolating things you can do.

Source: My sisters husband came out of prison around 2 months ago.
