Please tell me this will spell the end for Ron Johnson.
Don’t let up Wisconsin. The GOP crime family is certain to dig in and find new, unconscionable ways to cheat and steal. They can’t win with vision and ideas.
Hell ya. Finally we have fair maps. Now we just have to show up in November and vote!
with luck this means the Dems can get control of the state houses and then gerrymander in their favor!
Now do ohio please
Just to clarify, this only affects the WI state assembly and state senate districts. Wisconsin’s federal congressional districts are unchanged. Still, a major victory.
“Oh no, we can’t use technical loopholes and voter disenfranchisement to give us an edge anymore, how are we going to win?!”
I’m just glad Karl Rove is alive to see his horrible machine fall apart.
There isn’t a cesspit deep enough for that guy to live in.
Just remember, both sides do this AND 100% will do it again if given the chance.
These maps aren’t fair, just better. Republicans have ~85% chance to maintain control of each house.
NC next please
hard fought battle for fairness!
This was a failure by Democrats. Let the maps fail and let the courts create even more fair districts..
Not fair enough, but it’s a start.
Scott Walker’s baby. Act 10 needs to be next
The end won’t be until Democrats replace half or more of those Republican bastards in the next election.
Ohio next!
Oh no 🙈! The jig is ⬆️
Why should they do fair? Why not rig the fucking system like they did and tell them to eat cake? The very next time they get in power, they will do exactly that.
There are sliders you can drag left and right to compare past and future. The cliffnotes:
> __State Assembly__
> current/previous maps – Republicans hold 64/99 state Assembly seats.
> new maps – 46 lean Rep. 45 lean Dem. 8 tossup.
> __State Senate__
> current/previous maps – Republicans hold 22/33 state Senate seats.
> new maps – 15 lean Rep. 14 lean Dem. 4 tossup.
Purple ain’t blue, but it’s a fair sight better than red.
I wish we could ungerrymander NC’s maps.
Congrats Wisconsin, now if we could get them in Ohio.
*Fairer* maps. They still will give Republicans a majority of seats even when they receive fewer votes.
If I remember right, these maps were suggested by Evers and no dems voted for them, it passed because WI Republicans thought these maps were better for them then what their Supreme Court would draw up.
It’s good, but could have been better.
So, the GOP did not actually impeach the new justice?

Good news for once
