  1. It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot). Fully cached AMP pages (like the one OP posted), are [especially problematic](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

Maybe check out **the canonical page** instead: **[https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jan/17/russia-moves-troops-to-belarus-for-joint-exercises-near-ukraine-border](https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jan/17/russia-moves-troops-to-belarus-for-joint-exercises-near-ukraine-border)**

  2. Interesting, if Belarus assists and thereby involves itself with Russia in an attack on Ukraine, war will be declared not only on Russia, but on Belarus as well, deflecting some of the attention from Russia. At the same time, Russia comes a whole lot closer to Central and Western Europe via Belarus, which would underlign Putin’s demands. No doubt though, Ukraine and NATO have foreseen this possible Belarussian route.

  3. Oh c’mon guys it’s fine. They’re just exercising! Yeah I know Russia is larger than Pluto and can exercise all over it’s massive landmass, but them being right next to Ukraine’s borders is just a coincidence! Belarusian troops just wanna have some good time with Russian troops while overlooking picturesque Ukraine’s landscape from across the border… Seriously y’all exaggerating

  4. It is curious how little coverage there is of this on Western media. No baited breath on CNN, etc. Why? Was the plug just pulled on the martial music?
