In an ideal world, charities wouldn’t exist. They are the public filling holes left by the government. Now it is the new norm that people have to donate to help other people subsist/survive. Even people in the “middle class” need help in this economic climate, and can’t help others in more need than they, so charities can’t provide services because donations go down. You need to be a trust fund baby just to survive in this country. F the uk and F the tories. Despicable C*nts.

If someone was in a coma for the past 15 years and woke it they’d have no clue what a foodbank is. We have sleep walked into this situation where people, even people working full time, are relying on food banks. No, I think the inability of citizens to express themselfs has been fucked, we are all so distracted and exhausted, we simply don’t give a fuck anymore. The fact anyone believed that closing every business for years would not result in this beggars belief. To me it will get worse before it gets better. As an aside, a litre of fuel in the Philippines is currently 80p, all imported from the global market that has supposedly caused these prices. We are basically double and are shafted every day.
