Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that Donald Trump’s recent comments about Russia suggests that Vladimir Putin has some financial hold over the Republican primary front-runner.
Pelosi was asked by MSNBC anchor Jen Psaki—a fellow Democrat who was the former White House press secretary in the Biden administration—about Trump’s reaction to the death of Russian opposition politician Alexey Navalny.
He imo has more than that, but true, Nancy isn’t wrong.
Suggestion equals truth in this case.

It seems reasonable. My own theory/assumption is that Trump is a “president-for-hire” and Putin was the highest bidder. Or Putin has some really good dirt on Trump that’s compelling him to play ball. Or maybe it’s simply a business arrangement where Putin has promised to “allow” Trump to be King of North America in exchange for keeping the US military out of the conflict while Russia and China divide up the rest of the world. The only reason it took 3 days for Trump to mention Navalny’s death is because he had to wait for the Kremlin to approve his response. 👍

The actual truth is even if Putin had dirt on Trump, none of it would matter. Trump’s cult is never going to turn on him. Putin could show a video recording of them planning the whole thing and the cult would blame the Democrats and fake news.

I’ve never really understood what Russia could have on Trump that’s more embarrassing then what’s already publicly known about him. I mean, is some weird fetish really more embarrassing than earnestly suggesting that injecting yourself with bleach is a good idea? Whatever power Russia has over him being financial makes a lot more sense.
