That’s a shame. I thought the Nine was really good.
Martin Geissler always seemed pretty balanced and well informed. Night and day between him and Sarah Smith anyway.
That’s a real shame, actually. Honestly don’t think many folk that complained about it actually watched it. I’m pro-indy and I thought the balance they struck was (mostly) about right.
Been expecting this headline since it was established. Surprised it lasted as long as it did.
It was ok, but always felt it was focussing on the wrong issues. Often just repeated reports from the main BBC news, would’ve been better to do some unique Scotland focused reports you wouldn’t see elsewhere. Some of their guests and sit down segments were interesting though.
How about we just scrap the BBC?!
Not surprising at all.
No one ever wanted the part time BBC Scotland channel. What people wanted was a Scottish Six o’clock news and more homegrown content on BBC One Scotland.
Shame though, I didn’t mind The Nine.
This is a shame. The Nine wasn’t perfect, but it felt like they were trying to deliver good news coverage and learning from mistakes when they made them.
They shouldn’t have named it after the number of viewers
