A point that will be lost on the MAGAs. I am glad that it is FINALLY being emphasized.
Yes, you in the back, with the red ball cap.

Ship a bunch of stuff that would be rotting in a storage room to your allies, and replace it with newer stuff built by american companies in america. All that without significantly altering your military spending. I wish my country had that kind of problems.
Add and non of your military personnel are being killed at the same time gaining invaluable information on the enemies (Russia for you MAGAcrowd) capabilities and tech. The Ukrainians are a very creative bunch they’ve already neutralized the Black Sea fleet without a navy per say
It’s not “he” it’s 74% of Americans want to help. We have a loud minority that is able to dead lock us.
They treat this as such an afterthought, and it’s something they should be shouting from the top of the mountain, from the beginning.
Very true!
Very good article written that makes it clear. Biden already has the full legal authority to send far more ammo and equipment to Ukraine. The laws allowing this have already been passed by previous sessions of congress. And the laws are still on the books. Remember laws never expire. The congress, no matter how it votes could not stop Biden. But both congress and Biden are using Ukraine for their political gains.
This. Don’t republicans LOVE the military-industrial complex? All of our arms manufacturers? Spending money on improving our own military?
Just think of all of the benefits for the US to support Ukraine here.
* The money spent will primarily go to our own domestic arms and military manufacturers.
* We can advance our own military technology very easily and safely, without the actual pressure of actually being at war.
* We end up sending mostly old equipment that needs to be retired anyway.
* Supporting Ukraine would help weaken our #1 geopolitical rival over the past 75 years: Russia.
* We manufacture new weapons for our own arsenal.
* We are able to field-test our weapons and gain very accurate battlefield data.
* We gain a TON of intelligence on Russian military assets, strengths, and effectiveness.
* By weakening Russia, we GAIN strength and influence.
* We make friends and strengthen ties with western-aligned nations.
In addition:
* We can do this all very cheaply, and without putting any US troops in harm’s way.
* We already promised to defend Ukraine, in exchange for them giving up their nukes.
* It is the RIGHT THING TO DO, even if we didn’t make that promise. Our country believes in equality and human rights, not dictators and war crimes.
* We’re America. Don’t we like punching bad guys in the face sometimes? (this is 50% a joke)
If we do not support Ukraine:
* Russia will gain strength, which will weaken the US.
* A weaker US against Russia will also mean that we are weaker against China.
* We would signal to the world that we do not keep our promises.
* We would signal to the world that no one should EVER give up their nukes.
* We would signal to the world that you can successfully hold the world hostage with the threat of nukes.
* We would be betraying the EU and other western-friendly nations.
I hope they have billions in arms shink-wrapped on pallets at the closest US bases ready to roll before the ink is dry when the US House finally stops playing games…
Yup US better discuss gender of a woman than, help Ukraine defende from russian genocide.
Despite how much it would suck for them to have to elect another speaker I’d really like to see the current speaker get ousted for being a fuck.
