Hours are 9-5.30, not ‘at bosses discretion’
I wouldn’t answer an email outside working hours either though so… Aita I guess.
Had a boss a few years ago that I would answer without doubt.
Fuck no.
I mean if it’s a small thing I don’t really care I’ll give him 5 mins. If it’s a big thing I’ll just ask to talk about at work the next day. If he tried to push I’d simply say no I’m outside of work hours.
But my boss is the type that he’d remember when I finish and either just not call me until the next morning, or would accidentally go past my finish time talking and then go “wait what time do you finish? Oh shit I’ll call you tomorrow bye”
