Has everyone forgotten about the official definition for where the North, Midlands and South are?

  1. The problem with that map is it puts east anglia in the south which doesn’t feel right, also it puts the High Peak in the East Midlands when it’s as far north as Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and is culturally northern.

These lines were drawn up by decision makers in the south, and ignores the identity of the people who actually live there, no one in the High Peak says they’re from the Midlands and no one in east anglia says they’re southern.
