Do cluster munitions use a timer, or do they have a proximity fuse?
This is what I hoped & expected from cluster munitions but this is the 1st time I’ve seen mass casualties like this.

A quick question for those in the know:
I’ve seen a few videos with these cluster munitions detonating on targets. I’ve noticed a pattern with the explosions, where there seems to be a large ring of impactors, and a dense concentration of impactors in the center, with a middle or mantle area between the center and outer ring that doesn’t seem to get hit with anything. Is this correct, or is that middle area saturated with tungsten balls too, or is it a less-saturated area where a target soldier is more likely to survive compared to the outer ring or center zone?
Basically if someone could explain how this works, I’d appreciate it.
65 Russians improved with 1 munition? I love cluster bombs. Ukraine should get more of them, and the bleeding hearts who say we should not have mines or cluster bombs should go fight on the front lines in Ukraine for a few years.
