Tesco changes how it shows Clubcard prices after row

  1. I’m glad they are finally getting some pushback, since the clubcard changes and the fake prices I’ve avoided Tesco’s as much as I can.

It’s just annoying to me to see a fake price above the price I would normally pay in most other supermarkets.

  2. I just ask the person behind me in the queue if they want the club card points

  3. Can we just scrap this bullshit and go back to getting vouchers and points instead of different prices?

  4. Use an app like trolley.co.uk while shopping to compare prices. Easy win

  5. > “This is something that we have been planning to do for some time,” said Tesco’s UK chief executive Jason Tarry

    Pull the other one, tazza

  6. The not having unit prices thing is so annoying as you can’t compare anything, a good change.

  7. It is good to see this positive move even though they may well have been forced to do it. I am sceptical of Tesco saying they have been thinking about this for some time. If so what was stopping them?.

  8. How are these things legal? Don’t they discriminate based on age, since under 16s (or 18s) can’t get them?

  9. If I could go back and prevent the whole points+app thing we have going on in retail, I would in a heartbeat.

Bring back Bogof, 2 for 1 and the reduced isle.
