Very, very few of the Russian vehicles being rung up as destroyed are new manufacture. Many are obviously un-upgraded or inappropriately used deep reserve stuff. MT-LB used as a frontline APC, that sort of thing.
The USSR *did* have this much stuff, but it’s still a lot less than Russia claimed on paper before the war.
Reason why Russia exhumed graves in Russia and Jerusalem is watching…
