The Lake Constance issue isn’t really a conflict. The borders on the lake are just undetermined. Switzerland wants to clearly determine them, but Germany and Austria prefer the undetermined status.
Turkey has no island disputes against Greece IN REAL (Not talking about Kardak). Unfortunately, a retired colonel interpreted this with incorrect informations. Then, the opposition tried to wear down Erdogan with these BS and implied he was a traitor. Thus, as is always the case in Turkey, no one cared about the truth of the incident and turned it into an ideological fight without investigating. There is a proverb in Turkey: “One madman threw a stone into a well, but forty wise men could not take it out.”
First, I saw news: Greece invaded our 18th island.. 19! 20! I laughed because we do not have that much island on the Aegean and TBH Greece has no power to invade anything which belongs to Turkey. I went deep:
* Retired staff colonel said, “The Greek flag is now flying on Küçük Çuha Island, which belongs to Turkey,” and added: The Islands (Aegean) Sea has turned into a Greek lake. Turkey has been confined to the Anatolian coast.
Kucuk Cuha is an island near Attika 😀
* The 18th island occupied by Greece in the Aegean has been registered in our name!It has been documented that Marathi Island, within the borders of Aydin, where the Greek flag was hoisted, was registered as a Turkish island by CHP in 1933 with the League of Nations.
This seems TRUE BUT FALSE: There is two marathi islands on Aegean; one in Gr one in Tr; Turks dive from there WITHOUT A VISA SO? He clearly mixed up the islands
* Greece occupied our 20th island!
Retired Staff Colonel (same guy) said that the Greek flag has been flying on Limoniye Island, which belongs to Turkey according to international agreements, for 5 months.
That island also belongs to Gr, ceded from Italy to Greece in 1947 wtf 😀

Missing a lot of maritime border disputes such as Italy-Malta, Greece-Albania and France-Spain but otherwise it’s a very well made and interesting map! Have you considered making a similar map for the other continents as well?

I’d born in Tychy in Poland and lived there 23 years – and I know this claim of Bieruń to Tychy due to the Fiat Auto Poland factory which some of area are in Bieruń – claim is due to the place where Fiat paying taxes – right now is Tychy but smaller Bieruń want to have this money due to the significant income.
How Ukraine’s territories are being mentioned by Ruzzian occupied and Georgia’s not? They are in the exact same position… Ruzzia has plenty of military bases, 34 in Abkhazia and almost 25 in Samachablo region

Btw, the positions on the border dispute over lake constance are:
Austria: The entire lake belongs to all three countries at the same time.
Switzerland: All three countries have their‘s own sector of the lake each.
Germany: There is currently no need to define this.
Everyone: border disputes
Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia: nah we good
Why is Denmark included, is it their dispute with Canada in the arctic? If so that was resolved in 2022

Personal opinion!
There is no real dispute between Portugal and Spain over Olivença. Olivença should be Portuguese, but it was not properly returned many many years ago and now the population is Spanish. They talk Spanish. They vote for Spain government. They pay taxes to Spain. They use healthcare from Spain. And if one asks them, +90% would prefer to keep being Spanish.
So, officially Portugal does not recognize Spanish ownership of that region, but that’s just a formal/diplomatic detail. Not a real issue that disturbs somehow the relations between the countries.
I believe the “conflicts” were exaggerated/overrated in a (non) discreet attempt to legitimate another real current conflict, by claiming that “all Europe is in conflicts and that’s just one more”.
I will not believe there are no disputes between France and the uk. We often dispute the idea that the british are human ffs !
Why can’t we all just be chill and focus on things like medicine, housing and climate ffs
