That green piece of the bar didn’t just disappear into the thin air. It is now paid by all taxpayers. No, the effective electricity price for the whole economy is not below the 2021 levels. You have fallen for a typical accounting trick. Or, as a German would say – Milchmädchenrechnung.
In my view the net electricity prices are still far away from reaching the 2021 levels. Fees and taxes haves have been decreased. Thus, the total price has been adjusted for industrial consumers. I assume such a reduction of taxes and fees this is only a temporary measure…
The blue bar is far more relevant, though.

Yeah, great. Last week I received a letter from my energy company. They are raising the price per kWh from 37 to 43 cent. The monthly basic fee also increases from 11€ to 17€
I’m happy to pay more for lower industry electricity prices, of course…
Edit: Of course, I will change the provider as always. But that is a bullshit game since in one year I have to change again.
This seems mainly to be because EEG-Umlage dissappeared – what is that?

Don’t get fooled. Prices are still unbelievably high, the industry just doesn’t have to pay any tax on it for now, so they pay roughly the same. Ordinary people? Fuck ordinary people!
