I still don’t get why Holyrood dragged their heels over implementing this law for so long. The outcome was predictable.
Ah yeah, the warning that Scotland needs to follow this pathetic fake ban which does not ban XL Bullies and instead allows them to be legally kept – around **30,000** are registered in England and Wales alone with hundreds of them shipped up to Scotland illegally despite the fake ban saying this rehoming was illegal. And those **30,000** supposed dangerous dogs are allowed to walk the streets and kill indiscriminately in homes – even though this was banned. Remind me, the fake ban was supposed to stop breeding even though XL Bullies are being bred?
So, despite Scotland having robust dog control measures already in place, it is now forced to toe the line with a pathetic Westminster law that does not solve the problem at all; and that is with owners and breeders.
