Liverpool and FC Bayern remain both keen on appointing Xabi Alonso as new head coach at the end of the season. Discussions to follow. There’s no formal release clause into his contract at Bayer but he will be allowed to leave in case he decides to try new chapter.

  1. Goodluck to Xabi!! To be honest, with Mbappe coming next year, I don’t think anyone is more capable of managing our stars than Carlo. Hopefully, we’ll see Xabi in 2026 or 2027.

  2. As much as I want him in Madrid, I feel Don Carlo is still the right fit for the club. I was predicting that he would be sacked mid season but the tables have turned and he has extended his contract too. He is mind blowing this season and players backed him too.
