Just a little stat that I want to share. It doesn’t mean that we will necessarily get better by the power of the plot, it’s just something to keep in mind.
I think that our players have the ability of turning around shortcomings. To me to be this competitive for this many years is impressive in itself, let’s hope for the best.

It’s going to be close to finish this season.
A game like the Leipzig game last year around this time would be fantastic for team morale and confidence.
Hope we can stay injury bug free and finish strong.
The problem is Liverpool is 17 points better off.
Problem is we still have to play our 2 most cursed fixtures Liverpool (A) and spurs (A)
How Leeds got relegated is a mystery
I’m very happy with this considering won treble and team still fighting for titles!! Unbelievable motivation. If u read United wen won treble they dropped off, Yorke wanted year off ffs

March is going to be brutal.
All things considered with our injuries, we’re in a very good place.
Our defense is more or less at the same place it was last season (shipped one more this season than last) and our goalscoring not being quite as good also makes sense with DeBruyne and then Haaland being out for periods of time. I’d argue our team is slightly worse on paper this season than last, but I still have faith they can figure it out. We’ve got it all in front of us and Pep still has his usual mid season adjustment in his back pocket.
We’ve been in need of this type of title run I think. Good for the squad. Until Grealish comes back, I think Oscar Bobb has to be a starter. He’s shown me more than Doku and it’s not to knock doku. I just think Bobb holds the keys this spring for us.

The main thing to consider is the opposition player and points dropped between the 2 season’s. I’ve not checked but I wonder if we had more of the big teams out the way last season by this stage.
Currently we essentially have to still play most of the big 6/European spot teams.
This is coincidentally where our dropped points have come this season. With only palace and wolves being the outliers. Usually we have random dips but show off against the big teams.
