The pro bono work he did on the Mclibel case always made me think he was genuinely a pretty decent guy.
(The Ken Loach documentary about the case is very good)

Seems to show that he’s actually a decent bloke to me.
Although Liv Truss was apparently a pro democracy liberal political student so doesn’t necessarily show current beliefs.
