I can’t understand how there are 153,000 people who took out a loan of $12,000 or less over 10 years ago and have not been able to pay it back! This is a serious indictment of the academic institution that supposedly educated them. Either that degree is completely worthless (and actually somehow worth a negative figure) or their personal finance skills are so lacking that they should be given a free Mint account rather than any debt forgiveness.
I would love to actually meet someone that has had their loans cancelled.
I have been trying for YEARS and haven’t had a penny cancelled.
I really think these articles are just attempts at gaslighting people into thinking something is being done.
President Biden needs to do this for real and he needs to do it NOW before it effects his chances at reelection.
