I don’t frequent bars after being a new dad, but this seems a bit excessive pricing no? I found weird the bar never offered no receipts. Anyways, trying to gauge if it seems normal, or not! 🙄

  1. This is Finland. Seems about right, maybe even on the lower side on what it could be, a Blanc can be easily 10€ in the summer.

Real world prices have gone up all over the place for 15 years and salaries have not really kept up.

  2. I’m not saying it’s a reasonable price but seems what you would pay for those. Nowadays restaurants don’t have to automatically give you a receipt but they have to provide one if asked.

  3. The price for the Blancs is pretty regular (unless it was small ones). The burger and fries… I hope they were good, it’s definitely the higher end of pub prices. Here in Helsinki one of the most well regarded burger (charcoal-grilled) with fries is 21€. The best-voted smash burger in a chicken + burgers restaurant is 15.5-18+5€ with fries.

  4. 6.90€ for a blanc beer is not bad honestly. I’d expect to pay 8€ for it (at least in Finland, not in my home country)

21€ for burger and fries doesn’t seem excessive as food tends to be a bit expensive in bars. I always try to avoid eating in bars, especially in a city where there are many food options in the same area. I can give you an endless list of burger restaurants in Helsinki that are better and cheaper than 21€.

  5. Wierd that they have different name for same place? Price seems fine
