    Ironic coming from Trainline, who charge an arbitrary “booking fee”, and charge an Admin fee of £10 to change advance ticket times.

    Don’t use Trainline folks, buy tickets direct from the train operators using official apps instead of these dodgy third party ones. The best app is CrossCountry, no booking fees, no admin fees, works for all National Rail journeys.

  2. Or just buy a car and and accept you contribute to global warming. It’d only cost a fraction of the price of the 4 change train journey that’s going to be cancelled part way through and leave you stranded, and about 10 times quicker
