Probably something to do with lucid dreaming but wonder if anyone has seen this sticker anywhere/ has context for it?

  1. What does it say on the bottom right? Reality Cheque?

  2. This is what I found from chat gpt. “The official reason for public signs about lucid dreaming may vary depending on the context and the organization or individual behind them. However, the primary purpose is generally to raise awareness about lucid dreaming and encourage people to explore and experiment with their dream experiences. They can serve as educational tools, prompts for mindfulness, or simply as creative and thought-provoking installations in public spaces. In a doctor’s office, signs about lucid dreaming could serve as part of a broader approach to promoting mental wellness and self-awareness. They might be used as a tool for patients who experience sleep disturbances or recurring nightmares, as learning to lucid dream can help individuals gain more control over their dream content and potentially alleviate sleep-related issues. Additionally, it could prompt discussions about sleep hygiene, relaxation techniques, and other aspects of sleep health during consultations with patients.”

  3. People training themselves to lucid dream perform ‘reality checks’ by looking at their hands, because in dreams your hands are normally disfigured in some way so if you see your hand is weird you’ll realise you’re dreaming. Normally you have to train yourself to perform reality checks enough in waking life that you will do one in your dream as well, thus inducing a lucid dream. This sticker is in reference to that, don’t know anything more though

  4. I read about lucid dreaming online, and the Web page I was reading advises that if you think you may be dreaming, to look at your hand,.look away, and then look back. Apparently the brain finds it difficult to accurately reptlroduce simething like a hand accurately so any differences when you look back can clue you in that you are dreaming.
I don’t remember my dreams much but I do remember one dream that was taking a darker turn when I became aware I was dreaming. After checking my hand and ascertaining it was a dream, I was able to direct it away from the dark direction it was taking.
